Suggested fabrics: Parker works well in a variety of medium weight fabrics. To suit the barrel silhouette, the designer recommends using medium weight denim, cotton twill, or canvas fabrics. A medium to heavyweight linen or linen blend will give a softer, more lived-in feel. If you are using a heavier fabric, the designer recommends using a lighter lining fabric for the pockets. 

Fabric requirements: 

45" (114 cm) wide fabric: 2.5 - 4.4 yd (2.3 - 4.1 m).

54" (137 cm) wide fabric: 2.4 - 3.5 yd (2.2 - 3.2 m).

Lining (optional for pockets): 0.5 yd (0.4 m).

Sizing: A – S (approx. UK 6 – 36/38, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

This pattern is drafted for a height of 5'6" (168 cm).

Notions: 1 1/2" (3.8 cm) woven elastic; 2" x 1" (5 cm x 2.5 cm) scrap of interfacing (for optional drawstring only).
