Buy the Lumen Dress and Top sewing pattern from Fibre Mood. Lumen is one of those pieces that effortlessly exudes class. This sleeveless dress with a high neckline has a slightly fitted cut yet remains wonderfully comfortable. The slit at the centre back allows for extra movement and adds a subtle finishing touch. Not in the mood for a dress? You can also sew Lumen as a top: just as stylish, just as versatile. Fancy making a statement in tulle or another sheer fabric? Note if purchasing copy shop printing: Some of the pattern pieces have been split (to fit on the A0 sheets) and will need to be joined together.

Suggested fabrics: Lumen loves supple fabrics that drape well, such as viscose, silk, lyocell, seersucker, crepe, chambray, double gauze... Or go all out and choose tulle.

Fabric requirements: 

Top: 140 cm wide fabric: 70 - 130 cm.

Dress: 140 cm wide fabric: 160 - 295 cm.

Sizing: XS – XXXL (approx. UK 6 – 28/30, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and pattern measurements.

Notions: Iron-on interfacing, max. 40 cm; one 6 mm sew-on snap; bias tape (folded, 2 cm wide) (see chart).

Note: Seam allowances are included in this pattern. The copy shop file we print for you shows the cutting lines only (not cutting lines and stitching lines) to make it easier to know what size to cut out.
