Suggested fabrics:Â
Primary fabric: Use a medium weight, stable knit fabric with 50% horizontal stretch, such as interlock, ponte, or double knit. Choose a fabric with excellent recovery, preferably one that contains elastane.
Lining (inner waistband and decorative pocket flaps): Use a very lightweight knit fabric with stretch similar to the primary fabric (50% horizontal stretch). Choose one with excellent recovery, preferably containing elastane. You may also use the primary fabric, provided it is not too thick.
Fabric requirements:Â
Long sleeve dress: 54" (135 cm) wide fabric: 1 7/8 - 3 5/8 yd (170 - 320 cm).
Short sleeve dress: 54" (135 cm) wide fabric: 1 7/8 - 3 1/4 yd (170 - 290 cm).
Lining: 54" (135 cm) wide fabric: 1/4 yd (20 cm).

Sizes 00-20 have A, B, C, D and DD cups. Sizes 22-40 have B, C, D and DD cups.
A note from the designer about bust cup options: To determine your cup size, subtract the circumference of your over bust from the circumference of the fullest part of your bust. If the rounded difference is 1" (2.5 cm), use A cup; 2" (5 cm), use B cup; 3" (7.5 cm), use C cup; 4" (10 cm), use D cup; 5" (12.5 cm), use DD cup.
Notions: Lightweight knit or tricot fusible interfacing; seven 1/2" (13 mm) buttons;Â 15" (38 cm) of 1/2" (1.25 cm) wide straight fusible stay tape (or you may cut your own using lightweight woven fusible interfacing on the straight grain).
PDF pattern includes:Â Step-by-step illustrated instructions; US letter/A4 print-at-home pattern (51 pages for sizes 00-20, 58 pages for sizes 16-40, but you only need to print the pages for your cup size); A0 copy shop pattern (3 sheets for sizes 00-20, 4 sheets for sizes 16-40, but you only need to print the sheets for your cup size) // Layers: Yes // Projector file: Yes.
