Merchant & Mills Cirrus Top

Buy the Cirrus Top sewing pattern from Merchant & Mills. Float around in this light and airy batwing top. It is loose and comfortable. With an optional drawstring waist and rib cuffs, it is also a simple make.

Note if purchasing copy shop printing: One of the pattern pieces has been split (to fit on the A0 sheet) and will need to be joined together.

Suggested fabrics: Lightweight wovens such as linen, cotton lawn or voile, cotton poplin, tencel, Indian handlooms, cotton double gauze. Choosing something like a cotton poplin that is tightly woven will give a more voluminous silhouette.

Fabric requirements: All with or without nap.

Without drawstring:

110 cm (43 1/2") wide fabric (XS-XL only): 1.7 - 1.9 m (2 - 2 1/4 yd) // 120 cm (47") wide fabric: 1.6 - 2 m (1 3/4 - 2 1/4 yd) // 140 cm (55") wide fabric: 1.5 - 1.7 m (1 3/4 - 2 yd) // 150 cm (60") wide fabric: 1.5 - 1.6 m (1 3/4 yd).

With drawstring:

110 cm (43 1/2") wide fabric (XS-XL only): 1.8 - 2 m (2 - 2 1/4 yd) // 120 cm (47") wide fabric: 1.7 - 2.1 m (2 - 2 1/4 yd) // 140 cm (55") wide fabric: 1.5 - 1.9 m (1 3/4 - 2 1/4 yd) // 150 cm (60") wide fabric: 1.5 - 1.8 m (1 3/4 - 2 yd).
