Merchant & Mills Fielder Dress and Top

Buy the Fielder Dress and Top sewing pattern from Merchant & Mills. The Fielder is based on a traditional sweatshirt. Imagined in linen with a cotton rib, it features three quarter length raglan sleeves and in-seam side pockets (dress only).

Bonus: The pattern now also includes an option for a short sleeved top with a higher crew neckline.

Suggested fabrics:

Dress or top: Dress weight laundered linen, soft cottons, lightweight denims, wools (soft and light), light flannel or crepe.

Ribbing: Cotton elastane 2 x 2 cuffing rib which comfortably stretches by half again (if using an alternative rib, check the stretch).

Pocket bags: Can be cut in self or lining fabric.

Fabric requirements: See image gallery.

Sizing: UK 6 – 18 or UK 20 - 28 (approx. UK 6 – 16/18 or UK 20 - 30, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size charts and finished garment measurements.

Notions: 20-30 cm of seam tape, stay tape or a short length of selvedge edge from a fine fabric, approx. 5 mm wide.

PDF pattern includes: Instructions; A4/US letter print-at-home pattern (42 pages for sizes 6-18, 60 pages for sizes 20-28); A0 copy shop pattern (3 sheets for sizes 6-18, 3 sheets for sizes 20-28).
