Named Airi Wide Leg Trousers

Buy the Airi Wide Leg Trousers sewing pattern from Named. Airi is a classic trouser pattern with a high waist and wide, airy legs. The trousers are fitted at the waist and hips. They feature subtle slanted side pockets and angular patch pockets at the back. The waist is finished with a facing, and the trousers close with an invisible zipper at the side seam.

Suggested fabrics: Choose a medium weight, non-stretch trousering. Depending on the desired result, you can choose a fabric with drape or a fabric that is more rigid.

Fabric requirements: The fabric requirements include a 5% allowance for shrinkage. Note that the fabric consumption may be greater for fabrics with a pattern and for fabrics that need to be cut in one direction.

150 cm (60") wide fabric: 150 - 250 cm (1 5/8 - 2 3/4 yd).

115 cm (45") wide fabric: 220 - 285 cm (2 3/8 - 3 1/8 yd).

Sizing: EU 32 – 56 (approx. UK 6 – 28, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

This pattern has been drafted for a 172 cm (5'8") tall person.

Notions: Pocket bag fabric, 40 cm (3/8 yd); fusible interfacing, 35 cm (3/8 yd); 20 cm (8") invisible zipper; a hook and eye.
