Style Arc Rumi Woven Skirt and Pant

Buy the Rumi Woven Skirt and Pant sewing pattern from Style Arc. Rumi is a beginner friendly, elastic waist A-line skirt or very wide leg pant. The pant can be made in cropped or long lengths. The waistband sits on the natural waist, and both the skirt and pant have wide hem facings and optional in-seam pockets. Shown here with the Rumi Woven Top.

Suggested fabrics: For a structured look: denim, cotton duck, any woven fabric that holds its shape. For a flowy look: cheesecloth, cotton voile, any woven fabric with drape.

Fabric requirements:

Full length pant: 112 cm (44") wide fabric: 3.4 - 4.5 m (3.7 - 4.9 yd) // 148 cm (58") wide fabric: 2.6 - 2.8 m (2.9 - 3 yd).

Cropped pant: 112 cm (44") wide fabric: 3 - 3.9 m (3.3 - 4.3 yd) // 148 cm (58") wide fabric: 2.2 - 2.4 m (2.4 - 2.6 yd).

Skirt: 112 cm (44") wide fabric: 2.4 - 3.7 m (2.6 - 4 yd) // 148 cm (58") wide fabric: 1.9 m (2.1 yd).

Sizing: 4 – 16 or 18 – 30 (approx. UK 4/6 – 16/18 or UK 18/20 – 32, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: 90 cm (36") wide fusing, 0.55 m (0.6 yd); 25 mm (1") wide elastic for waistband.
