TAUKO Magazine Issue No. 19
Buy Issue No. 19 of TAUKO Magazine. Issue No. 19 celebrates the unique spirit of the Nordic summer. It's a fleeting moment that brings joy and a gentle sense of urgency: the feeling that every day should be lived to the fullest.
Nordic style holds a fascinating contradiction. Alongside its minimalism lives a strong sense of playfulness and freedom. With fewer rigid dress codes and a shorter fashion tradition, there has always been space for bold colours, unexpected ideas, and joyful experimentation. Nordic culture embraces both simplicity and exuberance.
Inside, you’ll discover nine sewing patterns by independent designers from around the world inspired by the experience of Nordic summer. Expect practical garments made for layering, designs that move effortlessly between city and nature, and pieces that capture the freedom of long midsummer nights. You’ll also find essays and stories exploring Nordic style from new perspectives, revealing how diverse and evolving this tradition truly is.
The magazine includes paper patterns and step-by-step instructions for all designs, which are available in nine sizes ranging from a 31"/78 cm bust to a 57.5"/146 cm bust.Â
Sewing level:Â Confident beginner / Intermediate
