Suggested fabrics: 

Main fabric: Four-way stretch knit swimwear fabric with at least 50% stretch in both directions. Look for a mix of nylon or polyester with elastane (aka Lycra/spandex).

Lining: Swimwear lining, stretch mesh or more of your main fabric, with at least 50% stretch in both directions.

Sizes 1 - 5 (UK 6 - 14)

Main: 145 cm (57") wide fabric: Swimsuit, 0.9 m (1 yd) // Bikini, 0.8 m (7/8 yd) // Neckline ruffle, add 0.2 m (1/4 yd) // Leg ruffles, add 0.3 m (3/8 yd).

Lining: 145 cm (57") wide fabric: Swimsuit, 0.9 m (1 yd) // Bikini, 0.8 m (7/8 yd).

Sizes 6 - 10 (UK 16 - 24)

Main: 145 cm (57") wide fabric: Swimsuit/Bikini, 1 m (1 1/8 yd) // Neckline ruffle, add 0.5 m (5/8 yd) // Leg ruffles, add 0.3 m (3/8 yd).

Lining: 145 cm (57") wide fabric: Swimsuit, 1 m (1 1/8 yd) // Bikini, 0.9 m (1 yd).

Sizes 11 - 15 (UK 26 - 34)

Main: 145 cm (57") wide fabric: Swimsuit, 1 m (1 1/8 yd) // Bikini 1.1 m (1 1/4 yd) // Neckline ruffle, add 0.7 m (3/4 yd) // Leg ruffles, add 0.3 m (3/8 yd).

Lining: 145 cm (57") wide fabric: Swimsuit, 1.1 m (1 1/4 yd) // Bikini, 0.9 m (1 yd).

Sizing: UK 6 – 34. Please check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Matching polyester thread; 8-10 mm (5/16"-3/8") wide rubber swimwear elastic // Bikini version: 6 mm (1/4") wide rubber swimwear elastic // Optional: foam swimwear cups.

Note: The designer recommends using rubber elastic and not clear elastic.
